Frégate Island Resort
Frigate Bird Frégate is 60 km away from Mahé and roughly three square kilometers in size. Besides the comfort and luxury of 16 exclusive villas, this island also has six dreamlike white sand beaches, surrounded by crystal clear water, wide spread coral reefs, a plant life that is unique in the whole world and of course wonderful sunshine.
Rooms/furnishings: The villas on the island were designed by the famous American architects "Wilson & Associates", and were created that they fit perfectly into the surrounding nature. They are so private that the neighboring villas are not visible to each other. Each has 108 square meters space in which are: A living room, a large bedroom, two bathrooms and a foyer that connects all the rooms together. A roomy sundeck offers a retractable sunroof with a private Jacuzzi, a king-size sun chair, pool seats and a large table for outdoor meals. There is an outdoor shower on the veranda as well as inside.
In the villa there is air conditioning and of course a CD-player, video recorder and private bar. For those guests who even in paradise do not want to be cut off from the outside world can have the use of a telephone and a fax machine. Every morning the room service ensures that there are fresh flowers and fruits in each room.

The main restaurant in the central building of the enclosure offers a fantastic international gourmet menu, to be enjoyed with a stunning view of the Indian ocean. Daily breakfast is also served. In the Seychelles Plantation House, a renovated plant house, a gourmet can enjoy the original Creolian kitchen in a traditional atmosphere. For those who would prefer to dine in the privacy of their own villa can make use of the room service, which of course runs around the clock. A private plantation with vegetables and livestock ensure that only the freshest ingredients are used.
In the central area is also a fitness center and a library with a large selection of literature, videos and CDs. There is also a playground for our younger guests. A wonderful swimming pool is built into the cliff face.

Activities: The nine dreamlike beaches of Frégate Island belong to some of the most beautiful in the whole world. Shadowed hiking routes cross the entire island.
Also on offer for no charge are sports such as yoga and aerobic. For a fee our guests can indulge in a massage, manicure or pedicure.

The range of water sport activities on Frégate Island are practically limitless. The resort has an entire fleet of yachts, sailing boats, catamarans and motorboats for deep sea fishing (for a fee). A highlight of the resort is the possibility to go diving in the coral reefs (for a fee). Non-engine water sports are included in the room price.
